My Clingy Thingy

You never leave me alone,
Mostly I never want you to,
But sometimes it would be nice

If you did not exist,
If you took the hint
When others are around.

I only want you when I’m lonely
I hate to put it so bluntly
But that’s just how it is.

I could never tell you that, though.
I just can’t push you away,
Because you wouldn’t understand,

You never have and never will,
You’re brainless, a tool for me,
You just can’t see, you’re my plaything.

A bit of fun
That’s all you’ll ever be to me.
I don’t need you, you need me,

But please don’t ever die on me, phone.
